Samuel Heath Launches New Finish: Amber Brass.

New Products,

There’s magic in the air at Samuel Heath’s historic 19th-century brass foundry in Birmingham, England, where their highly skilled craftspeople have melded chemistry and artistry together to achieve a breathtakingly beautiful new brass finish.

Amber Brass, Samuel Heath's 17th finish, is the latest addition to the aged brass collection and available across all key collections. Its rich burnished brass hue is evocative of amber and has been expertly crafted to elicit an immediate antique-style appearance, without the need to wait for a natural brass patina to develop. The pre-aged finish is polished and then has a gloss lacquer applied, resulting in a sleek lustrous sheen that injects an additional dimension of rich and warm tones for the ultimate in vintage sophistication.

Amber Brass taps into the quiet luxury zeitgeist with its opulent feel and answers the demand for high gloss lacquered finishes currently trending in glamorous interiors, as well as the desire for warm antique-style details with a sense of heritage. It is equally at home in a contemporary setting or a traditional design. Samuel Heath's artisan craftsmanship and the supreme quality of their sustainable brassware means designers can rest assured that the exquisite patina effect will endure and maintain its appearance over time.

Amber Brass joins a wide selection of natural, brushed, lacquered and gloss finishes that are available at Samuel Heath. All of which are produced by an in-house electroplating process, controlled by skilled technicians. Read more on the artistry here
