DPHA Fellows Induct Kate Brady and Jeff Silverstein.
Kate Brady and Jeff Silverstein are being honored for their remarkable contributions to the decorative plumbing and hardware industry, as well as their unwavering commitment to DPHA. Mary Labowitz (Premier Decorative Group) and Steven Weinberg (California Faucets) graced the stage in Denver to welcome the newest additions to the DPHA Fellows with heartfelt and emotion-filled speeches.
Kate Brady has spent over 30 years in the industry, beginning as a showroom manager at General Plumbing Supply, eventually rising to Director of Showrooms in 2009, and expanding the company’s reach to eight locations. Her dedication to DPHA has been vital; after joining its Board in 2012, she quickly became President in 2014. When DPHA faced leadership challenges, she selflessly extended her presidency, which ultimately led to a change in officer terms, strengthening the organization’s continuity.
Similarly, Jeff Silverstein has been a pillar of the industry, joining California Faucets in 1997 and transforming it from a small company to an industry leader with over 250 employees. He has introduced innovative products like StyleTherm valves and ZeroDrain, cementing California Faucets’ reputation for quality and craftsmanship. Jeff’s resilience through economic recessions and COVID reflects his commitment to growth and innovation in the industry.
Both Kate and Jeff have also been deeply supportive of DPHA. Kate has continued to serve the association in various roles beyond her presidency, leaving an enduring impact on DPHA’s legacy. Jeff has been a steadfast supporter of DPHA and has fostered a culture of giving within his company, reflecting his dedication to both the community and his employees. Their inductions into the DPHA Council of Fellows recognize their exceptional leadership and dedication and took place on Saturday, October 19th at the 23rd Annual Conference.
