Americh Teams Up with Chown Hardware and Artist Donald Harvey to Support Local Charity.

Americh is pleased to announce a charitable collaboration with Chown Hardware and artist Donald Harvey called “Brushstrokes of Hope.” This fundraiser, which will take place October 3, 2024 at Chown Hardware’s Portland location will benefit Rose Haven, a prominent local charity dedicated to aiding the Portland community.

Americh has generously donated a Somerset solid surface tub, which will be hand-painted by acclaimed artist Donald Harvey, for auction at the Brushstrokes for Hope fundraiser. This exclusive piece of art will be auctioned off during the event, with all proceeds directly supporting Rose Haven's mission to provide essential services to individuals experiencing homelessness. Stoller Winery, the wine sponsor for the event, will also gift a wine tasting for two and Migration Brewing are the exclusive wine and beer sponsor, respectively.

Rose Haven is a day shelter and community center serving women, children and gender non-conforming folks experiencing the trauma of abuse, loss of home and other disruptive life challenges. It works to break the cycle of homelessness in Portland by offering critical services, including meals, clothing, medical and social services guidance, educational programs, and more.

Portland-based artist Donald Harvey is celebrated for his captivating artwork in murals and trompe l’oeil painting. Harvey has worked for Willem Racke Studio for the past 30 years in San Francisco and has worked on murals around the country in hotels, homes and restaurants.
