Amba Products Explores The Costs of Washing Towels and How Heated Towel Racks Can Help.

Amba recently surveyed 3,000 people across North America to understand their towel washing habits and discovered that most wash their towels weekly. This infographic explores the costs associated with such frequent laundering and illustrates how using a heated towel rack can enhance comfort while offering significant household savings.

"A few years ago, we conducted a study with a scientific lab that found a heated towel rack reduces bacteria growth on towels by 99% after a 7-day use period, compared to a standard towel bar. To delve deeper, we conducted a public survey to understand towel usage habits," says Harris Wattles, general manager at Amba.  "We combined this information with public data on water and electricity consumption of average washers and dryers to assess the costs for an average household. When factoring in a heated towel rack, our analysis revealed potential savings over the course of a year in terms of water, electricity, detergent, and time.
