Molly Switzer launched Molly N. Switzer Designs LLC in 2017 after she held positions at Chown Hardware and Precision Countertops for nearly a decade. Molly N. Switzer Designs LLC focuses on residential interior design with emphasis on kitchen and bath. The firm also has acquired an expertise in home-connected technology, offering guidance, design and product specification for smart home applications and products.
Molly also helps train local designers, hosting lunch and learns and happy hour opportunities for product reps to educate the design community to better understand new product launches and new lines.
Carol Kurth is an award-winning licensed architect and interior designer and Principal of Carol Kurth Architecture + Interiors. Carol’s distinguished and award-winning body of residential and commercial work is notable for its elegant and imaginative integration of site, form, structure, and materials.
Carol is passionate about designing distinctive architecture that layers modernism with traditional elements and textures. Taking inspiration from nature and the built environment, her design vision integrates all scales: landscapes, building forms, interiors, and product design. Her multidisciplinary expertise and active engagement from conception through construction administration, interior design, and art curation bring a cohesive design vision throughout the process.
Carol is a Registered Architect in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont and Florida; a Member of American Society of Interior Designers (ASID); and a LEED Accredited Professional.
Anita Shaw has spent the last 40+ years immersed in the magazine industry, working as an editor and writer covering a vast range of topics for consumer and trade publications. Over the course of her career she has fallen in love with two industries – the personal care industry during her 10 years as editor in chief of Soap & Cosmetics magazine, and the kitchen and bath industry, which she has spent the last 25 years covering for Kitchen & Bath Design News.
Now editor of KBDN, Anita is passionate about interior design and devoted to reporting all things kitchen and bath related to the magazine’s readers. A veteran of a home remodel to create a multi-generational space, she also draws on her personal experience to decipher the good – and the not-so-good - aspects of the process.
