      JOB DESCRIPTION - Sales support and training representative

      Summary of employment - Under the supervision of the sales director, the sales support and training representative will develop new markets, territories and business opportunities. Furthermore, he/she will determine dealer’s needs and ensure their satisfaction while maintaining a profitable and durable relationship.

      Roles and responsbilities
    1. Creating Awareness and a Presence of the Home Refinements and Prochef Brands in the Marketplace.
    a. Develop and promote the reputation of the brands.
    b. Be the face of Julien in assigned sales territories (assure that visits in the assigned territories are performed regularly and that we are represented at industry events).
    c. Verify that sales agents have the most up to date information they need to perform their jobs accurately.
    d. Set forth to the agents and clients the core values and professional image of Julien.
    e. Be available to provide customer service support to the clients.

    2. Networking and Distribution Optimization
    a. Maintain an active role with current client base and optimize sales quotas.
    b. Implement marketing strategies as well as promotions and plans for introducing new product lines.
    c. Solicit and build new client base and follow up on sales leads.
    d. Build and nurture long lasting business relations with key clients.
    e. Share information and knowledge gathered in the field with the team.
    f. Follow up with mailings (ie. designers and architects).
    g. Achieve and increase sales objectives through various means: follow ups, visits, sales agents support, sales presentations with potential clients, etc.
    h. Prospection of new customers and projects.
    i. Participate in industry conferences and trade shows.

    3. Supplementary Tasks and Training
    a. Support marketing strategies by attending trade shows, business conferences and associated meetings.
    b. Managing the merchandising and installation of sales displays and storefronts.
    c. Product and sales training for agents and dealers.
    d. Transfer of knowledge learned in the field or on site to concerned departments (ie. Engineering, marketing, product development, sales agents).
    e. Represent the company in assigned territories.
    f. Support the customer service team to better serve the client base.

    Requirements

  • Degree - Bachelor’s in Business Administration or other pertinent education
  • Experience -
  • - One to three years proven sales experience
  • - Participation in a trade mission ( an added asset)
  • Knowledge - Knowledge and expertise on project management - seeing a project from start to finish (planning, execution, financial outlooks, respect of dedicated timelines)
